Our Mission:
*Make the Peninsula a priority to provide participation opportunities & grow the game
*Create partnerships with like-minded organizations that put the player first
*Offer quality, convenience and affordable playing opportunities for all ages & levels with a focus on grass roots development
*Develop the whole player in a fun, challenging & competitive environment
*Identify & develop coaches that have a genuine love for the sport

Club History on the Peninsula:
The Rush returned to the Peninsula in 2022 through a merger of VAFC and Virginia Rush SC out of Virginia Beach. In the spring of 2024 Path2Goal acquired the rights to become its own Rush soccer franchise and now operates as VA Rush Peninsula.  While a part of Rush out of VA Beach the teams were members and participated in the VPSL/NPL, TASL and various tournaments in the region. During that time our top performing players from the Peninsula advanced into Rush top teams for regional league, USL Academy, showcase tournaments as well as international/national teams through Rush Select programs. Since becoming our own franchise VA Rush Peninsula is focused on developing our grassroots program while serving as a full member of US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer.  Through these platforms our program places teams into State Cups, tournaments and showcases as well as National Premier Leagues "NPL" and the National Leagues through USYS South Atlantic Conference with 2 team competing in Premier 1.  The Rush player pathway offers developmental and competitive opportunities for players of all ages and levels.

*Congratulations to the VA Rush Pen 09 NL team (pictured) with being crowned Virginia NPL Champions and qualifying for US Club Soccer Nationals in Colorado in the summer of 2025 - all in the clubs inaugural season!

Our Club Phlosophy:
Our philosophy mandates a structured, disciplined and stable environment where commitment, personal values and principles are the priority. Our methodology develops each player’s understanding of his/her connection to their team, with and without the ball. This holistic approach to player development promotes a positive outlook and personal growth so players can take responsibility for their own development. While winning is part of the process in our club, nurturing and developing a winning and professional attitude is more important. Players are encouraged to be creative, keep the ball but read the game and take “what’s on” while balancing risk vs reward throughout the run of play. Developing technical players and possession-oriented teams with a competitive, problem-solving mindset is the goal throughout our slate of teams.
